• Sightseeing: Stop by the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani), a massive water reservoir surrounded by lush pine hills, perfect for photographs or speedboating. After checking into your Shillong hotel, spend a vibrant evening exploring the local cafes, music scenes, and shopping hubs at Police Bazar.

• Stay: Cozy standard hotel or vibrant guest house in Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji Waterfalls (Approx. 55 km / 2 hrs)

After breakfast, drive along the mist-shrouded mountain ridges toward Cherrapunji (Sohra), historically famed for receiving some of the highest rainfall on earth.
